During your stay, you might encounter minor household issues. Here are some common problems and straightforward solutions to help you resolve them quickly:
Air Conditioning or Heating Issues
Thermostat Settings: Ensure the thermostat is set to the desired temperature ( cooling 24C in the summer and heating 21C in the winter ) and mode (cooling or heating).
Power Supply: Check that the HVAC system is connected to power. Check fuse box as well
Air Filters: Dirty filters can impede performance. If accessible, check and clean or replace them.
Consistent Mode Setup: If the property has multiple units sharing the same outdoor unit, ensure all units/remotes are set to the same mode (e.g., cooling or heating). Mismatched modes can prevent the system from functioning properly.
Television or IPTV Not Working
Check Power Connection: Ensure the TV is plugged into a working power outlet. Test the outlet with another device to confirm it's functioning.
Inspect Remote Control: Verify that the remote has working batteries. Replace them if necessary.
Input Settings: Confirm that the TV is set to the correct input source (e.g., HDMI1, AV).
Cable Connections: Ensure all cables (HDMI, antenna, etc.) are securely connected.
IPTV Issues: If the IPTV service isn’t working, try resetting the system by unplugging both the TV box and the internet router. Wait 30 seconds before plugging them back in and allowing them to reboot.
Refrigerator Not Cooling
Temperature Settings: Verify that the fridge and freezer are set to appropriate temperatures.
Door Seals: Ensure doors are fully closed and seals are clean to maintain proper cooling.
Airflow: Avoid overpacking to allow air to circulate freely inside.
Newly Stored Items: If you’ve just placed food in the fridge and the outside temperature is over 25°C, please allow some time for the refrigerator to cool down and adjust.
Weak or No Wi-Fi Signal
Router Status: Check if the router is powered on and all cables are properly connected.
Restart Router: Unplug the router, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in to reset the connection.
Device Proximity: Move closer to the router to see if the signal improves.
Interference: Keep electronic devices that may cause interference away from the router.
Clogged Drains
Use a Plunger: For sinks or toilets, a plunger can often dislodge minor clogs.
Drain Cleaner: Apply a suitable drain cleaner as per the product instructions.
Preventive Measures: Avoid disposing of grease or large food particles in sinks to prevent future clogs.
Electrical Outlets Not Working
Circuit Breaker: Inspect the breaker panel to see if any circuit breakers have tripped. Reset if necessary.
Pest Sightings (Especially Ants)
Cleanliness: Keep the kitchen and other food areas clean. Do not leave food exposed or crumbs on surfaces.
Use Vinegar: Clean surfaces, especially in the kitchen, with vinegar to deter ants and other pests.
Garbage Disposal: Dispose of garbage promptly and use sealed bins.
Report: If pests persist, notify property management for professional assistance.
Water Leaks
Immediate Action: Place a container under leaks to prevent water damage.
Shut-Off Valves: Know the location of water shut-off valves to stop the flow if necessary.
Report: Contact property management immediately to address the issue.
Malfunctioning Appliances
Power Check: Confirm the appliance is plugged in and the outlet works.
User Manuals: Refer to available manuals for troubleshooting tips.
Report: If unresolved, inform property management for assistance.
