Damage deposit is a sum of money that gets charged to cover any damages to the property, losses of inventory or excessive usage of water, gas or electricity. 

The payment request is generated 5 days before arrival and the preferred payment method is by card/paypal for a faster refund.

The deposit shall be refunded to you by bank transfer or card once we verify that the property and inventory are as delivered upon your arrival. In case of damages we will reduce the necessary amount from the damage deposit. In such case you receive a detailed receipt of the expenses.

You can avoid extra fees by reporting damages that you notice upon arrival. The company, the owner or its agents must be granted entrance to the property to inspect the state of the damage upon a reasonable notice. 

In order to avoid excessive fees caused by the usage of water, gas or electricity please make sure to use all services reasonably (e.g. you have an excessive electricity fee if air conditioning runs with doors and windows open or 24/7 when the property is not occupied). We do have a fair usage policy for electricity and readings are done on your check-in on all properties.

The amount of the damage deposit is set in correlation to the type of property/holiday period and varies from 200€ to 5000€.

The deposit for damages to the property or losses of inventory shall be refunded within 7 working days of your departure, once we verify that the property and inventory are in the same state as delivered upon your arrival.
